Our guide, Kaoru, was excellent at explaining the castle and all of its history. He also shared many legends and detailed stories with us. He even stayed beyond the scheduled time to answer all of our questions. We were very satisfied.

Fantastic tour! Our tour guide, Kaoru, was cheerful, fun and provided us with a lot of history, facts and quirky stories about the castle and its people. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely worth the money knowing Kyoto and the castle’s history.
