What an amazing day! We explored the well-known Fushimi Inari Shrine and the Golden Temple. Our guide was outstanding and brought us to a local market for lunch, which was fantastic (tempura). We also had the opportunity to visit the Six Sides Temple. The guide was top-notch, making the day very enjoyable and fun. Equally important, Roberto is very friendly, kind, and someone you enjoy spending time with. We’re excited for him to guide us through Nara in a few days. Highly recommended!

Tuvimos a Roberto como guía durante dos días en Kioto y fue la mejor decisión de nuestro viaje. En sus explicaciones se nota la pasión que siente por su trabajo, son muy claras y además con sus recomendaciones pudimos vivir experiencias fuera de lo típico. Visitamos Tokio, Hakone, Takayama, Kanazawa y Osaka con guías muy amables. Hasta que llegamos a Kioto y nos encontramos con Roberto. Antes de conocerle, ya habíamos oído hablar de los samuráis, el emperador, el shogún, etc., y teníamos una idea aproximada. Pero gracias al repaso con Roberto, AL FIN —escribo AL FIN— entendimos toda la secuencia: por qué existía el shogún, el papel del emperador, las religiones budista y sintoísta, todo explicado de forma clara y sencilla. Además, Roberto tiene una joya en sus manos: su iPad, donde ha preparado todo de manera visual, con vídeos, explicaciones e imágenes para facilitar la comprensión. Si pudiera volver atrás en el tiempo, organizaría mi itinerario siempre con él. Es una persona increíble, siempre con una sonrisa y atento a que lo pasemos bien. Un verdadero placer.

The first thing you need to know is that Roberto is brilliant, amd he understands Japan like the back of his hand. My wife and I spent three days touring Kyoto and one day in Nara with Roberto as our private guide. I highly recommend him. He was patient and informative, offering valuable insights at every site we visited in both cities and tells a lot of interesting stories. He was also flexible, adjusting his usual tours to match our interests, and communicated exceptionally well throughout the planning of our four-day trip.
