Quelle belle journée ! Merci David : nous avons été enchantés de ce Kyoto by bike ! Vos explications nous ont éclairé sur le Bouddhisme , et les jardins : le jardin sec de Deisen in nous a permis de comprendre le sens d’un jardin sec et nous allons mieux profiter de la suite du séjour.

David has just been extraordinary. He really doesn t count his time, over doing to please and we feel how passionate he is to share his knowledge and passion for Japan and Kyoto. I was with my 3 kids and he succeeded to keep them interested the whole , explaining Japan s history and culture, without any of us feeling the time which flew. Honestly visiting Kyoto without a guide and especially David would be a pity !!!

In march 2025 David showed me around the city for a day. Looking back at it, this was actually one of the best days in Kyoto. David has an incredible amount of knowlege and I learned so many interesting things about traditional gardens, tea ceremonys and buddhism while we explored different places. He was also able to tell me a few fun facts about Anime/Manga characters and how they resemble certain parts of the japanese culture wich I (as a huge Anime and Manga enthusiast) really enjoyed. What really amazed me was that even though we had a few attractions on our schedule and the tour was originally only booked for a few hours, David did not rush me in the slightest. We even had a lunch break and he happily extended our time without demanding additional payment. David was not the only tour guide during my japan trip but he was by far the most professional and knowledgeable one, you can really tell that he spent years of his life studying and preparing for his job. I can only recommend booking a tour with him!

Ce guide français connaît tes bien sa ville et il est très fier. Il a pu nous faire apprécier en quelques heures certains quartiers . Lorsque nous reviendrons, nous ferons certainement appel à ses services encore.
