I love living in Kyoto and enjoy sharing local experiences, culture and places "off the beaten track" with visitors.
I've been in Mexico and Great Britain when I was a student. Also I traveled more than 40 times(19 countries).
As an avid traveler I love meeting people from around the world.
The characteristic of my guiding is use of ''Original materials''.
Guiding not only with words but also with Handmade materials including old maps of Kyoto, ancient writings and Japanese wood rock print help you enjoy Kyoto with its deep history and background.
My interests vary from classics to hipster, Chashitsu (tea house) to modern coffee shops, Japanese rice wine to craft beer and Zen meditation to outdoor such as Mt. Kurama hike.
I'm also licensed in Tea ceremony and Japanese flower arrangement. Besides working as a licences guide at KVH, I work in the tea ceremony workshop for foreign visitors.
I can give you the best itinerary according to your schedule, budget and requests.
Please feel free to ask me.
I look forward to meeting you and showing you around!

I attend an American couple who are planning a wedding ceremony in Kyoto.
They came to look at possible venues and prepare for other stuff.
I played the role of interpretation of the meeting with venues, arranging the reservations, translation of the mails and documents to lay out the plan.
I'm also available for interpretation and arrangement for any kinds of events. Please feel free to ask me.
I guided an American family for 2 days.
According their requests,I made an itinerary with famous sites and unique food experiences. They enjoyed the history and culture through visiting temples, tasting a variety of unique food, feeding lovely monkeys and attending an authentic tea ceremony workshop. We were luckey to be able to see a Geiko and music performances of Gion festival in Yasaka-shrine.
I guided a family from Hawaii for two days. They've been to Japan more than 4 times and know a lot about Japan and Kyoto.Since they love Quilt and Sashiko,we visited many venues related with Japanese fabric and textile such as Nishijin-ori textile studio and museum, antique fabric stores and the oldest needle shop in Kyoto. In Ohara, they tried ''Aizome-indigo dying'' and It turned out really well.
