I have spent my school life in Kyoto for 10 years, lived in Kyoto for more than 20 years, and I am still in love with this beautiful city Kyoto.
I would love to take you not only to popular tourist destinations but also to hidden places,gems where tourists normally would not go to.

I lived in New Jersey when I was a child and studied in Vermont when I was a college student.
I am a high school teacher as well, so my strength is explaining complicated history and customs in a clear, easy-to-understand way.

Saki-San was an amazing interpreter and guide during our stay in Kyoto. We first met her as an interpreter for our children’s manga drawing workshop. Luckily for us, she was available to guide us around after the workshop, and the day after too. She is knowledgeable about the sites around Kyoto, and also gave us a brief overview of the history of Japan to make the visits that much more meaningful. She was able to add interesting snippets too, that made the visits enjoyable.

Saki-San went out of her way to identify shops that offered very specific Manga animation that my daughter is currently interested in. Hitalia isn’t / wasn’t that easy to source, but she managed to get what my daughter wanted.

She was kind, patient with our children (who loved interacting with her!), and we thoroughly enjoyed our two days with her commentary and guiding.

We would recommend her 100%, and will possibly use her services the next time we visit Kyoto.
