Our July 2026 tour with Junko was amazing. She took us to incredible locations we never would have found on our own, and explained the history and significance behind each one. It was so nice to join her tour, so you don't feel lost or unsure of where to go and can make the most of your time in Kyoto.
She is an excellent guide. You can tell how much she loves Kyoto, which makes you love and enjoy the experience even more. She's also very kind and fun to be around. I highly recommend a tour with her. Thank you, Junko!

Junko is the best guide in the entire world! She goes above and beyond, and shares the most interesting and wonderful history about each location. She is so knowledgeable, and you can truly feel how much she loves Kyoto in her tour (and it makes you love Kyoto even more, too!!
She has taken us to amazing places we never would have found on our own. She's also very kind and an absolute joy to be around! I would book a tour with her anytime I am in Kyoto.

Junko is a very professional and likeable tour guide for anyone visiting Kyoto.
Initial communications with Junko were very good and she was great putting together suggestions for itineraries and working with my wife and I to come up with a list of locations that we could cover in our time in Kyoto.
On the day of the tour, Junko suggested a start time and met my wife and I on-time at our hotel to start our tour. We spent the rest of the day touring locations such as The Bamboo Forest, The Temple of the Gold Pavilion (Kinkaku) and she was particularly knowledgeable on The Shogun's Palace (Nijo Castle).We also visited some parts of Kyoto less visited by tourists which were lovely and quiet and we almost had the places to ourselves.
Junko's english is excellent and I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for an english speaking guide to take them around Kyoto. I will personally be recommending Junko to any of my friends who may be visiting Kyoto in the future.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Junko as your next travel guide. Her knowledge of the unique history that surrounds Kyoto was wonderful and her organisational skills were exceptional as she managed to fit in everything that we wished to see in the time we had available. We had a great and amazing day with Junko.
Even though we booked her on short notice she managed to squeeze in time for our group and showed us Kyōto. She allowed us to dive deep into the culture and explained/answered all of our questions.
I can totally recommend this amazing experience with Junko and I implore you to experience Kyoto with her.
