A Cultural Exchange Across Kyoto, Nara, and Paris
I had the pleasure of guiding two professional Paris-based guides through Kyoto and Nara.
In Kyoto, we visited the historically significant Nijo Castle. Then we enjoyed aburi‑mochi together at a small but historic shop that has been part of my life since childhood. As we said our goodbyes, we promised each other that our next meeting would be in Paris. -
From Istanbul to Kyoto
I guided a group of six friends from Istanbul, Turkey, around Kyoto for two days. Since the guests were about the same age as me, by the end of the two days, we felt like old friends. I am grateful to the group leader who constantly made everyone laugh with his jokes!

Precious Kagai culture
At the request of a company, I acted as an interpreter for a dance performed by geiko from Miyagawa-cho together with jikata- san who played the musical instrument shamisen live. The guests had a lot of fun taking pictures, asking questions, and experiencing the precious culture that lives in Kyoto.
